San Mateo Maker Faire
Here are a few snaps from the grounds.
This kid just taken in by this mechanical giraffe, and just continued to stare at it.
A giant city made of tape.
Felting at its very best! Very strange though, a Nikon camera with a red ring lens...
I spy a Leica.
My sister loved this thing.
Very clever.
These guys were amazing. They would play instruments and the sound would come from the Tesla coils.
Giant Cardboard Robots! and for public testing, the arms! Here is my Mom attacking my Dad.
Here is an automated walking cardboard elephant.
My sister and I also brought a new thought process to stamp making. This Teacher and his Students had come to CA to teach people about custom stamp creation and we decided to take their small stamps and focus two of them for a single objective.
The finalized stamp was of course, based on Peanut.
There was also a TV show being shot for the Travel Channel.

Blue Sky Saturdays
Shot 6 different groups of people up in SF. Some of my favorite family photos were taken today, and like a lot of my work, cannot be posted. I just wish I brought up my own gear today instead of having to use the 5dmkIIs. With its higher mega pixels I filled up 50gigs of memory cards.

Laguna Seca
Today I had some free time after my two day shoot with Nissan that I was able to catch some of the last race for the day! I donned my Media vest and entered both the pits and the famous corkscrew. It was so amazing to just be where I was during the races that I almost forgot to take photos!
The difference between having a media vest (on the right, in blue) and not.
I also learned that Patrick Dempsey owns part of a race team. Here is his car.
I wanted to get even lower shots of the car, but the security barricades got in the way.
